Set in the modern day, a 24-year old British soldier, Hedrick, has recently completed six-months of training in Belize. His budding interest in fellow Brit, Elselien, a relief worker and medical trainee in Bajo Chiquito, Panama, leads him to traverse the Darién Gap alongside migrants. This voice memo is what he recorded just hours before the two would meet as he exits the jungle.
